These new and innovative fabrics and webbing are constructed from solution dyed fibers that are engineered to meet the military's Near Infrared (NIR) specifications and color/shade requirements. Since the color is built into the fiber, the fabrics and webbing are inherently more resistant to UV fade and the color/shade has a duller/flatter appearance which is more uniform and consistent, lot to lot and item to item, vs. piece dyed fabrics.
